Overheard in Azeroth

That’s the premise behind this blog. At the very heart of it, World of Warcraft is supposed to be a fun game. A Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Game with players from all over the world and a rich and detailed storyline can be fodder for excellent and awesome shenanigans. You can do crazy things like take a trip to the Ironforge airport, throw snowballs at each other in Ironforge or Orgrimmar, wear crazy disguises and dance to your heart’s content, be a pirate or a ninja (thanks to Savory Deviate Delights!), or plan out gnome genocide. But you don’t need to plan out events or get fancy costumes to have fun — just everyday chatter can be amusing. Whether it be Barrens Chat or just weird shit you stumble upon while on your way to complete that next quest, WoW chatter can be really entertaining.

A lot of WoW players get caught up in the more serious parts of the game. Like raiding every night of the week, or grinding reputation for loot, or farming for gold so you can buy the epic flying mount, or entering battleground after battleground. The game gets to be a chore — it stops being fun. So Overheard in Azeroth aims to bring more fun to the game. Please send in your overheard chitter chatter in World of Warcraft. Please send in your screenshots of crazy and awesome things. Please send in the fun stuff you did as a guild (And I do NOT mean “Karazhan accomplishments” or something. Roleplaying servers: This is a chance for you to shine).

Even though this blog is called Overheard in Azeroth, I will of course welcome submissions of Outland shenanigans as well. It’s just that “Overheard in Azeroth and Outland” seems like a little too long
